Welcome to Freezer Food Friday! Please post a recipe on your blog that can be at least partially prepared ahead, and then link it below, using Mr. Linky. Thanks for joining in the fun!

 

Apple Crisp:

1 c brown sugar
1 1/2 c flour
1 1/2 c oatmeal (quick or regular)
1 cup butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cloves

Mix well until crumbly. Place in ziplock bag

6 cups sliced, peeled and cored apples (about 2 pounds)
1/2 c brown sugar
3 TBL flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Combine well. This is the apple filling. Place in second ziplock
bag.

Place both topping and filling in produce bag and freeze.

You can multipy this recipe for as many as you would like to make.

PREPARATION: When ready to cook, place apple filling in well
greased 9×13 pan.

 

OPTIONAL: you can dot the top of the apple filling with 1/2 stick of butter.

Top with crumble mixture and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
