Shredded Beef with Sherry

2 pounds top round steak — 1/8-inch strips
2 cans golden mushroom soup — (low salt, low fat)
1 can water
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 can sliced mushrooms ( I am using 8 oz fresh, sliced )
1/2 cup sherry
2 cups cooked rice or pasta — (or more)

Easy does it with this simple yet tasty dish. A splash of cooking sherry adds a rich flavor.

Mix all ingredients together; place in slow cooker. Cover; cook on low for 5?6 hours or until meat is tender. Spoon over pasta or rice. Serves 4. Can feed 4 to 6.
