Creole Baked Onions

 

Recipe is from “Depression Era Recipes” by Patricia R. Wagner with adaptations by Julie Kay.

Serves 4.
3 to 4 large onions, peeled
1 cup butter, melted
1 tsp. Creole seasoning

1. Peel onions and put in slow cooker. Pour melted butter over all.

2. Season with Creole seasoning.

3. Cook on Low for 4 hours.
