Zesty Beef and Slaw Soup

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups pre-shredded coleslaw mix
1 (10-ounce) package frozen whole kernel corn
1 (9-ounce) package frozen cut green beans
4 cups hot-style vegetable juice
1 can Italian-style stewed tomatoes
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
1/4 teaspoon pepper

In large skillet, cook ground beef, onion and garlic until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain. Combine meat mixture with remaining ingredients in large slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for eight to 10 hours or on high for four to five hours. Yields six servings.
