I think this would work well in the crockpot.

Magic Roast

Serves 8-12. Perfect to start in the morning and leave in the oven until supper.
1 (2- to 3-lb.) boneless rump roast
Chef Paul Prudhomme’s Meat Magic
32 ozs. beef broth

1. Place roast in a large, oven-safe pot. Cover with Meat Magic on all sides. Pour broth in pot. Cover and bring to a boil on top of the stove.

2. Heat oven to 500 degrees. Place covered roast in oven and cook for 1 hour. Turn oven off and do not open door for 8 hours or longer.

3. Slice and serve on soft rolls or with the pan juices.
