SALSA-STYLE GREEN CHILE CHICKEN BISQUE

4 tbsp. butter
1 yellow onion, finely chopped
4 tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 C. heavy cream
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. black pepper
1-28 oz. can Furmano’s Petite Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies*
1-8 oz. can cream corn
1 C. cooked chicken, diced
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped

In a large saucepan over medium heat melt butter. Sauté onions for 4 min. Add flour, stirring constantly for 2 min. Add cream, salt, pepper, Furmano’s Tomatoes, corn, chicken and Worcestershire sauce. Reduce heat to medium low; simmer for 15 min., stirring occasionally. Serve warm. Garnish servings with divided cilantro, if desired.* If unavailable substitute with Furmano’s Petite Diced Tomatoes and a 4 oz. can of diced green chilies.- Servings 6
