I made this for Labor Day. It was very good but dh said he still like THIS better.
1 frozen pound cake ( I used fresh )
1/4 c. orange flavored liqueur or concentrated frozen orange juice ( I used OJ )
2 c. chilled vanilla pudding
2 c. whipped cream or frozen topping
2 c. (1 pt.) frozen strawberries, sliced
Cut frozen pound cake into 3 equal lengthwise layers.
Sprinkle each cake layer with about 1 1/2 tablespoons liqueur or orange juice.
Cut cake into 1 inch cubes.
Layer half of pound cake cubes, pudding, whipped cream and strawberries into 1 1/2 quart glass serving bowl.
Repeat layering once.
Makes 10 to 12 servings.
