Did you miss me?
Today is Freeezer Food Friday.
My apologies for putting this up so late. We had the opportunity to tour the local Fox News station this morning and I did not get the post up.
Please post a recipe that can be made ahead and frozen for later use. Link it below using Mister Linky and make sure to visit each blog who shares.

4-5 Boneless Chicken breast
1 whole onion
2-3 stalks celery , + 1 cup chopped celery
2-3 carrots , + 1 cup chopped carrots
4 whole garlic cloves
10-15 peppercorns
Hand full of fresh or frozen herbs
Enough water to cover all (6-10 cups)
Noodles or Rice
Add everything to a crock pot except for 1 cup chopped celery, 1 cup chopped carrots and noodles or rice. Cook on High for 4 hours or on Low for 8 hours.
Remove chicken from pot, shred and set aside.
Strain broth into a large pot; add chopped celery and carrots bring to a boil for about 10 -15 minutes. Add chicken back to the pot and leave at slow boil, add noodles or rice and cook until tender.
If you want to freeze the soup, do so before you add the noodles or rice. Thaw out and bring back to a boil and add the noodles or rice.

Great recipe for this time of year. Thanks for hosting, as always.
Hope you had fun this morning at the news station. I did a field trip to the apple orchard on Monday with my first grader. I love field trips!
